Open coiled Strip Brushes are designed to be used in either a close face formation or opened up to give an exaggerated helix for guidance of either product or detritus.  This product is often used as an archimedean screw effect and the format of the filaments can be used as a blade or a cleaning tool.  

Open coils are constructed to suit their applications and can be made in all fill materials, backing strips and dimensions.
